Building Capacity for Tidal Marsh and Sand Island Restoration on Maryland’s Eastern Shore

This award will create restoration and resilience plans for tidal marsh habitat across three counties of Maryland’s Eastern Shore. The project will yield a sequenced pipeline of restoration projects that, when implemented, will restore thousands of acres of tidal marsh to benefit saltmarsh sparrow and other obligate birds, and improve community resilience.
