Recipient: Delmarva Resource Conservation and Development Council
Grant Amount: $$2,253,422 Matching Funds: $1,280,400
This award will build community resilience by protecting agriculture and saltwater habitats, helping restore habitat for imperiled saltmarsh sparrows and important fish species. The project will restore 50 acres of tidal salt marsh; complete surveys, designs, and permitting of four other degraded salt marshes; engage the community; and monitor several aspects of the restored site to make changes and to inform future restoration projects.
