Building Community Capacity for Coastal Resilience Planning in Atlantic Coastal Plain

This award will support ten community-based organizations in the Atlantic Coastal Plain to address issues of climate risk, displacement, and relocation, and deploy nature-based solutions to provide protection from storm surges, high tides, and sea level rise. The project will provide each community-based organization a detailed road map for developing community resilience and implementing projects that builds off the existing priorities and plans for addressing coastal hazards.
